Touring Gear: I have been told several things when it comes to the Crossfire Luggage Set, better known as the 'Touring Gear'. The most popular statement is that when you bought your car new at the dealer, this set came with the car. Every car. With a new sticker price between $35,000 - $40,000 I can see that as being a true statement. Others have told me that the Touring Gear was offered to customers as a option with a price tag of $600.00. I checked my window sticker and my car was supposed to have this set, but it didn't come with the car when I got it. Thanks to the internet I found a brand new set in the original Chrysler Box, still in the plastic wrap, for a great price. I will never use the set I bought. I just wanted to have them to go with the car. 40 Years from now when I sell the car I am sure I will be glad I picked them up back in '08. I did pickup an 'aftermarket' Crossfire 'bag' and I use that often.
